Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate - Nintendo Switch

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is the follow-up to Monster Hunter Generations, marking the series' debut on Nintendo Switch as an exclusive. Hunters can face off against the largest roster of unique monsters in any Monster Hunter game to date. Players take on the role of a brave hunter challenging larger than life beasts that yield valuable resources used for crafting unique weapons and equipment. In this nostalgic look back at the series' beginnings and evolutions, players can accept hundreds of quests solo or with friends.

During the hunter's journey, they must defend each of the game's four villages from major threats known as the Fated Four, as well as an even more dangerous new Elder Dragon. The game features a blend of classic gameplay with unique new twists, brand new explorable areas and monsters, and returning fan-favorites like the fast Zinogre and stealthy Nargacuga.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate allows fans to play in tabletop mode or in handheld mode on-the-go with up to three other hunters locally or online. It will be released on August 28, 2018, and supports up to four players.

With a colossal roster of monsters, including new monsters, Deviant variants, and the mysterious Elder Dragon Valstrax, players can expect a high level of challenge with the introduction of "g" rank to test experienced hunters' battle tactics. Formidable versions of familiar foes enter the fields with different moves and abilities never seen before.

The game also offers a co-op multiplayer mode where players can join up and hunt online with three other hunters, or play together via local play. With the flexibility of the Nintendo Switch, gamers can choose to play online on a TV in tabletop mode or on-the-go in handheld mode. Additionally, players can enjoy highly customizable gameplay with the introduction of two new Styles for further personalization options, alongside the existing four Styles and Hunter Arts introduced in Generations.
